We are two guys brought together through marriage (I married his daughter) who happen to have the same love for comics, movies, and memorabilia. We decided it was time to sell some of our stuff.
Instead of wading through Craigslist flakes and eBay fakes I have taken my old business website, revamped it, and am now selling all of our stuff through it. (You are at that website in case it wasn’t obvious.) I am a business minded individual but don’t let that fool you: this isn’t a business. This is two guys selling their stuff the easiest way possible. That means once we are done and out of stuff this site will no longer serve that purpose. Think of it as a Limited Run Special Issue and you better grab it while you can.
I have marveled at Woot and their model of “One deal a day” as well all the websites that have adopted that model and how well they’ve done so we are adopting that model as well. Each day I will put up a new item for sale. The difference? We only have ONE of that item. That means first come first served. The previous day’s item (if not sold) will go back into the well until an unspecified date.
Will there be stuff besides comics? Yes, there will. Baseball cards, autographs, some tech stuff (got a nice Dlink wireless N router here with someone’s name on it) and more. Whatever we feel like putting up will be put up. Sometimes you won’t like it and think it’s crap, other times you will want it so bad you’ll break your credit card by whipping it out so fast to purchase.
